Data controller

Yatta is published by a private individual, who is the controller of the data described here. They can be reached at the contact address at the bottom of this page.

What Yatta stores

Yatta doesn't read the content of your messages. It only stores what the game needs:

  • your Discord ID and username;
  • the ID and name of the servers where you play;
  • your cards with the date you got them, your trades, your banners and your quiz points;
  • the date of your last activity in the game;
  • for servers, the settings chosen in /config (channels, times, time zone, language).

Why

This data is only used to run the game: show your collection, handle drops, trades and quizzes. It is never sold or used for advertising.

Legal basis: performance of the service you use, under the terms of service (article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

Who can access it

Only the publisher has access to this data. To work, Yatta relies on:

  • OVH (France), which hosts the bot and its database;
  • Cloudflare (United States), which stores the card and banner images and protects the website;
  • Discord (United States), which carries the messages and actions of the game.

Transfers outside the European Union

Cloudflare and Discord are American companies. Data transfers to them are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which they have joined.

The website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party font service. Like any website, Cloudflare and the server receive your IP address and information about your browser when you visit it. These technical logs are used for security and to keep the website running, never to track you.

How long

Your game data is kept as long as you play. It is deleted at the latest 2 years after your last activity in the game on the server concerned, or earlier if you ask.

Messages already posted by the bot on Discord (drops, catches, trades) stay on Discord, where the server moderators can delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to its processing. Write to the contact address with your Discord ID: you will get an answer within one month.

Deletion erases your cards, banners, trades and quiz points on the server or servers concerned. It is permanent.

If you think your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
